The White Buffalo is the work of California native Jake Smith. Listing influences as wide reaching as Waylon Jennings, Radiohead and Tom Waits, Smith is a throwback to the time of hard touring, hard drinking artists who really lived what they sang about. Everything about Smith is big, from his imposing physical size to his amazing vocal range.

After releasing a self-titled ep in 2006, The White Buffalo returned this year with the Hogtied Revisited lp, which is out now through Gaga. To hear songs from the record, check out our soundcloud player above. To pick up a copy, head on over to itunes.
