Red Ink Battle Scars video
Posted: 18 March, 2010
Rising pop-punkers Red Ink are mighty busy: still in the studio writing and recording for their hotly anticipated debut lp, the foursome have just launched their infectious new single, Battle Scars, and its video.
The video, which you can watch below, was filmed during the recent SLAM rally in Melbourne, in which the music-loving citizens of this fine city rose up to protect our inimitable live music culture against the forces of gentrification and idiotic bureaucracy, which have already conspired to close The Tote and look likely to do the same to The Arthouse.

In recent months, Red Ink have been pricking up ears all over the place with their fresh, hook-laden pop, and are backing it up with their floor-shaking live show, which they have brought to thousands of peeps via performances at Pyramid Rock Festival, Stereosonic, Playground Weekender, One Movement & Festival of the Sun.
Red Ink launch Battle Scars at the Revolver on April 17, before heading off for some Adelaide and Sydney dates. You can also catch them this Saturday night at the Hi Fi with British India. (Full tour dates here.) Get amongst it!
